Top Secret, Induction Task Evaluation

Evaluation for hand over filming task. For our induction task we set out to create a narrative which was about a USB that was shown to be top secret. At the beginning the USB is passed between two people and then planted into another person’s pocket, that person is the one that will find out what is on the USB, then there is a plot twist when it comes to the document that’s on the USB. It is made to look very suspicious like it was supposed to be very secretive. Hopefully this will attract the audience’s attention and will leave them wondering ‘what’s going to happen next?’. We used different shot types throughout the short film. Shots like establishing shots and close-up shots etc. We decided to use this story line for our short film because we wanted to attract the audience by creating a tense atmosphere, when it comes to the ending we are hoping that the audience will feel intrigued by the plot-twist that we have added for effect.
